Located 10 miles East of State College in Happy Valley and unofficially Central Pennsylvania's largest cut-your-own Christmas tree farm.
Born from a love of the land and manifested in a lifetime dedication to the research / understanding of trees, the first tree was planted on our farm May 1st, 1970. Many things have changed and grown (and continue to grow) around the farm since then, but our principle commitment to providing quality trees and wreath products at a fair price has remained constant. Since 1995, we have invited families to enjoy our farm for a traditional cut-your-own Christmas tree experience.
As a locally owned and operated business we are grateful for the continued support of the community and welcome your comments on how to improve the experience.
Our founders, Martha and Craig Weidensaul, are actively involved in all aspects of production and sales just as they have been since 1970. Tannenbaum Farms has truly become a family affair. The
Christmas tree farm has enabled Craig to merge his professional experience and academic background with his passion for the outdoors. He brings over 30 years of academic research at The Ohio State
University in forestry and plant pathology to the business. Martha, "the tree and wreath Lady", enjoys the opportunity to share the magic of the season with others. She is often seen leading her
dynamic team and making all of the wonderful wreath products.
