From Pleasant Gap, Bellefonte, I-80
Follow Route 144 south over Center Hall mountain into the town of Centre Hall. Continue along Route 144 across Route 45 at Old Fort (past Snappy’s and the Old Fort Frosty Stop) for approximately 1.8 miles, turning right onto Airport Road. Follow Airport Road to Goodhart Road and turn left. Travel on Goodhart Road approximately ¼ mile to a stop sign and turn right onto McCool Road. The tree farm will be clearly visible at the stop sign—the main barn is just up the road on the right as you travel on McCool Road.
From Boalsburg, State College, Altoona
Via State Route 45:
Follow Route 45 East approximately 9 miles from Boalsburg and turn right onto Tusseyville Road (the first right road after the Round Barn). Follow Tusseyville Road approximately 1.5 miles to Airport Road. Turn left onto Airport Road and travel approximately 1 mile to a stop sign. Turn right at the stop sign onto Geary Road and travel ¾ mile to a “T” where you will turn left onto McCool Road. The main barn is just up McCool Road on your left.
Via State Route 322:
Follow Route 322 East approximately 9 miles past the Boalsburg by-pass where the highway turns back into one lane in both directions. Once you reach the Pennsylvania SPCA (which will be on your left as you travel east), you will have approximately 1 mile to go before turning left onto Red Mill Road. On Red Mill Road travel approximately ¼ mile to a stop sign at which the road forks—you will want to continue straight beyond the stop sign. The road name changes to Geary Road and the farthest reaches of the farm will be visible as you travel on Geary Road. You will travel ½ mile to McCool Road where you will turn right. The main barn is just up McCool Road on your left.
From Lewistown, Harrisburg, Philadelphia
Follow Route 322 West toward State College. Once you pass over the Seven mountains (approximately 10 miles West of Lewistown) you will descend into Potters Mills where the road forks, continuing to the left as Route 322 and branching right (at the Eutaw House restaurant) as Route 144. Continue on Route 322 approximately 1.5 miles past this fork where you will turn right onto Red Mill Road. The turn is marked by a thin, blue, rectangular PennDot sign for Tannenbaum Farms and is at the base of fairly steep hill. On Red Mill Road travel approximately ¼ mile to a stop sign at which the road forks—you will want to continue straight beyond the stop sign. The road name changes to Geary Road and the farthest reaches of the farm will be visible as you travel on Geary Road. You will travel ½ mile to McCool Road where you will turn right. The main barn is just up McCool Road on your left.
From Spring Mills, Milheim
Follow Route 45 West to Old Fort and turn left onto Route 144 at the lighted intersection (at Snappy’s and the Old Fort Frosty Stop). Follow Route 144 for approximately 1.8 miles, turning right onto Airport Road. Follow Airport Road to Goodhart Road and turn left. Travel on Goodhart Road approximately ¼ mile to a stop sign and turn right onto McCool Road. The tree farm will be clearly visible at the stop sign—the main barn is just up the road on the right as you travel on McCool Road.
From Madisonburg
Follow Route 192 West into Centre Hall. Turn left onto Route 144 and follow it through Centre Hall to the lighted intersection with Route 45; Old Fort (Snappy's and Old Fort Frosty Stop). From the Old Fort intersection continue straight and follow Route 144 for approximately 1.8 miles, turning right onto Airport Road. Follow Airport Road to Goodhart Road and turn left. Travel on Goodhart Road approximately ¼ mile to a stop sign and turn right onto McCool Road. The tree farm will be clearly visible at the stop sign—the main barn is just up the road on the right as you travel on McCool Road.
